The conference 'Employability and Entrepreneurship - Gender Stereotypes' will be held in Lisbon in the 3rd and 4th of October in the framework of the Portuguese EU Presidency. It aims at giving a contribution to mainstreaming the gender dimension in the Lisbon Strategy in particular in the framework of the preparation of the guidelines for the new cycle 2008-2011. It will also focus on the link between gender stereotypes and women’s employability and entrepreneurship in order to, on the one hand, overcome the barriers affecting women’s employability and entrepreneurship and, on the other hand, to empower men in family life for the promotion of economic growth and social cohesion.More info here.
