The US Conference of Mayors

The United States Conference of Mayors is the official nonpartisan organisation for the 1,139 US cities with more than 30,000 inhabitants. Its primary roles are to: promote the development of effective national urban/suburban policy; strengthen federal-city relationships; ensure that federal policy meets urban needs; provide mayors with leadership and management tools; create a forum in which mayors can share ideas and information. Its website provides numerous resources, including a searchable best practice database, a newspaper, subject-based projects and services, amongst other resources.
