The Social Explorer is an evolving and interactive interface based in the Sociology Department at Queens College, CUNY. providing easy access to demographic information about the United States, from 1940 to 2000, organised in two main types of resources: maps and reports. The maps section provides Interactive Demography Maps, of which the United States 1940 -- 2000 Census Demographic Map is the most impressive. The reports section includes U.S. Census reports since the 40's. An impressive project!
